My daughter had a really deep cavity caused by a broken tooth. We were going out of town the next day and she was feeling pain. Dr. Carlson and his team got her in right away fixed her tooth and did an AMAZING job!! I couldn’t be happier. The staff is incredible as well as dr. Carlson! I can’t recommend this place enough!!

I had a solid experience at Carlson Dentistry in Bakersfield. The staff was professional, respectful, and easy to work with from the start. The office was clean and well run, and the dentist explained everything clearly before getting started. What stood out most was how skilled and steady he was — I honestly didn’t even feel the needle when he numbed me up. The procedure went smooth, and they made the whole visit straightforward and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist in Bakersfield.

Dr. Carlson was excellent! I'm from the east coast, retired, and traveling slowly through the western U.S., and suddenly I was hit with sever dental pain. I had no idea what dentist to try. I did some internet looking, and Dr. Carlson seemed to be well regarded. In this case, the internet was correct. It was amazing. The staff worked me into the schedule for the next day. Location is clean and modern. Staff is friendly and professional. Equipment looked brand new. Dr. Carlson was very nice, very efficient, and professional. The solution to my issue was the extraction of a wisdom tooth, which he did on the spot. He was amazingly quick, and he took great care that I had no pain at all during the procedure. What could have been a major and painful issue for me was turned into a minor blip. Thank you Dr. Carlson and staff!

I must say that despite my fear of dental visits, the experience here so far has been great! Dare I say with each visit, I'm becoming a little more willing to go. Dr Carlson and the staff there have been a real pleasure. Whereas a previous dentist said they would only pull my tooth (when my desire was for a crown replacement), Dr Carlson shared his preference of always preserving whenever possible and I was sold. They've been mindful of my aversion to needles and always made sure I was comfortable during the work. It feels great to go to a dentist and actually leave with a smile on my face. Thank you to everyone there who's helped me to care more about my mouth and put me at ease where normally I've had anxiety. Couldn't be more satisfied!

This is the first time having dental work done after a cleaning appointment. My experience was easier and relaxing. Very professional experience. Doctor Carlson and staff were wonderful and made you feel welcome.
